Must I refund lady friend?

I am involved with a lady who has provided me with credit cards with €100,000 credit limit in the time that I have had them and I have spent over €150,000. Should I end the relationship, would I have to repay her?

I am involved with a lady who has provided me with credit cards with €100,000 credit limit in the time that I have had them and I have spent over €150,000.  Should I end the relationship, would I have to repay her?

I think this listener is very lucky to have met someone who is willing to lavish all this amount of money on him and there is no contract here and presuming that this facility is not a loan, the short answer is that this is a gift and is non-refundable to the lady. Regarding the extra €50,000 over the credit limit - that must have been authorised by the lady. Credit card companies don't just allow a credit limit to drift upwards - it has to be applied for and approved so, based on what I read into this Listener's question I believe that the extra €50,000 is also a gift.
